Dr. A.J. graduated from Creighton University with Magna Cum Laude honors and completed medical school at Creighton in 1991, including membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. His General Surgery training was done at the University of Louisville from 1991 to 1997. Dr. A.J. became Board-Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery in 1998. He was in the private practice of general surgery in Kingsport, Tennessee for four years. Dr. A.J. then joined the Lexington Surgeons in 2001. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American College of Phlebology. Dr. A.J. performs general and laparoscopic surgery, and has a special interest in the management of vein disorders.
